Hi BD84, sounds like you're in a great place! It makes it a lot easier to stay sober when you actually want to be sober

One suggestion I have for you is to add a plan for what you will do when the cravings hit, because they inevitably will. You can "urge surf" and post on SR. Alcohol is "cunning, baffling and powerful," and you're right to have a plan that involves activities other than drinking to keep yourself occupied.

As for today, do you like to read? I've rediscovered reading in sobriety - new topics like non-fiction and psychology. Or new fiction authors. Maybe hit up the library? Just a thought!

Happy Sober Saturday Morning It feels wonderful, huh?

It does feel great. I am bored right now but not thinking of drinking.

Cravings got real bad after my last post. Real real bad out of no where like a train hit me. I made plans and worked through it. I feel good again now.
