I read them and was reminded again--not of the dark time of the relapse--but of how many of SR rallied to my support.
I'm ever grateful!

I also love Dog's style and SLeigh's insight.
Thank you SO MUCH for spending your time here.
This thread is prove of what I have said before, this place can touch people in ways others don't even know. It has touched me and helped me change for the better.
Thanks again.

Congrats on 1,600 days, Leigh! That is one heck of an accomplishment.
And thank you, Carl, for your insights and dedication to SR.
Both of you are such steadfast friends to our community. We're very fortunate to have you in our midst.

I, too, love Carl's straight-forward advice. When we are talking life and dead, it is needed and to me would always be welcome. "Cut to the chase" and tell it like it is works for me. :-)
Congrats Leigh on 1600 days! Your rock!

Carl was the first to post on my first-ever SR thread where I was lamenting another 'day 1'. He pointed out that it could be my last day one and asked what my plan was to make it the last. Got me to thinking.....and yep, Oct. 1, 2014.....that was my last day 1! Thanks Carl!
