The cat I adopted almost two years ago from Chicory is named Lily. She came with her name. I have three other cats; Freddie, Zippy, and Franny, and two dogs; Jack and Greta. I never feel lonely altho I live alone.
Ok-I thought SoberInSyracuse was a guy and Zelda was a girl. Goes to show I have not talent for this kind of thing! I thought Dee was a sweet little ole lady at first. Was surprised to find out he was a man. Soberwolf I picture as a '30 something medium build with short brown hair and grey eyes. Anna I picture and a nice looking lady with medium length brown hair and glasses who sits at the computer by a window petting her cats and drinking coffee and every now and then she gets up to water the plants (??). I just picture her as someone who can make things grow....
With 4 cats and 2 dogs, you need earplugs and a room to hide they say that owners look like their pets...hmmmm
Yep, Dee's a dude, I've always thought so too.
I love soberleigh's description!
I'll take marcher13, who is a fixture on the March 2013 thread and all around awesome lady. I picture her as being slightly slender, maybe 5' 6-8", long auburn or brown hair, and super kind eyes. Always can be seen at her business, cooking something awesome in her kitchen, or with a mean set of knitting needles. Dogs, cats, kids and old people all take to her because they can sense her kind heart.

This thread is a very fun idea. I must admit, though, it's difficult for me. I don't really see people as pictures -- I see people as motion. So, for example, it takes me a little while to recognize someone I know from a photo, but I can recognize almost anyone I know instantly by their footsteps. Or if I see someone walking down the street from, say, two miles away, I can identify them easily by how they walk. So... even though I do develop a mental concept of the people here, it's really hard to describe that in words
There were a few posters who I had a very vivid image of who no longer post anymore. Like ThatThinkgingGuy avatar (gosh I can not remember his screen name but I remember his real name probably because he shared a name with one of my kids). We got into a few arguments and it makes me sad how I left things with him. But him and another.
I wish we could all meet at once in person to shake hands or hug or whatever but I like that there is a sense of imagination when we are conversing. Like Dee reading a post with end of glasses in his mouth while holding a coffee mug, or Anna twisting her hair around her finger...
And yes MikeM I pictured a kid who I went to high school with well because his name was Mike M.......

I think Beccybean looks 40ish, brunet, waive medium length hair, 5'7", slender but not frail. I have no idea what color eyes but they have a little fire in them more than a little at times. Kinda like her avatar but not cartoonish.
