Very nervous on Day 1
Hiya Yuki, welcome. Good on you for identifying and addressing your issue. Decide each morning that you are a sober person, that your sobriety is more important than anything else, and that you will not drink that day.
If you have any alcohol in the house, pour it out.
Formulate a plan to address the issues that have led to your addiction. Build a support network for both good and bad times. Avoid situations which threaten your sobriety. And be strong. The first few days are rough, but it does get easier.
You can do this!

Being nervous is understandable. Just take it day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. Dont think and worry about tomorrow, or next week, or next month. Get a solid plan in place. Follow the advice of the veterans here. Maybe attend AA to see what you can get out of it.
If you share some of your history with us we can maybe try and identify with you some triggers, or possible situations that you should avoid etc.
We are all here to help. Good luck on your new journey. It is well worth every tough step.

I'm on Day 25 and feel great. Day 1 was full of fear and anxiety...part of the anxiety for me was just what the alcohol had done to my system, along with the lack of good sleep, dehydration and mal-nourishment. Alcoholics are often lacking in Vitamin, B, a deficiency of which contributes to anxiety, along with other nutrients. Take care of yourself, be kind to yourself, and trust that with every breath, every minute, and every day it WILL get better.
