I'm sorry that things are unsettled Chris but I'm really glad you're staying sober. I think that gives you the best chance of being ready for whatever happens (not just romantically) from here on in.

Thanks Dee. It has been really hard to breakup and my life feels really out of control right now, but I look back at all the nights that I chose to go out drinking with friends or just to watch the game and stayed out till 2am or later. Why? This is certainly not worth it!? I made so many smaller mistakes that added up and now I look back and see them but in the moment I didn't notice what I was doing. I dated her for 4 years and we lived together for 3yrs. Feels like a lifetime -
