Well instead of my usual crawl out of bed hungover in the afternoon I went metal detecting really early in beautiful countryside, I found 2 silver coins, King Edward silver pennies from around 1280! What a difference a day makes :-)

Well there must be something in the stars because I found gold this weekend believed to be Bronze Age! Still can't believe it as it's a once in a lifetime find. Day 11 and I am starting to feel great physically and mentally...obviously the gold helps ha ha

Day 15! Tomorrow is a big test. I have a reunion with 4 ex drinking buddies and they will be drinking a lot. I know it may not seem the best situation to put myself in but I feel really confident it won't be a problem at all. I will get the usual persuasion talk which will inevitably get worse as the night goes on but in some ways I'm looking forward to standing my ground and showing them the new me. Bring it on.
