My brother in-law is an alcoholic - over the last 4 years he has moved himself into my 74 year old Mother-n-law's place - has not dealt with his issues - believes "God will cure him".

She has tried tough love - she just can't go through with it - it is now affecting her health . . . .

not happy, it has been a roller coaster for 3 years. but she can't put him out in the cold - she can't handle it for her own mental wellness.

That link is for making a recovery plan for yourself if you're an alcoholic yourself - as I understand you're here for your brother and because of that, your mom?

It's really difficult when your mom is not prepared to really do anything, netters.
