Spending New Year's Eve at home here... too much work to do to go out. Reminding myself that a year ago I was too much of a mess to have this much work, so this is a good thing. But man! This year. Spent my birthday in rehab so I guess this is a step up.

3 hours till the ball drops and I can welcome in a much brighter year.

Happy New Year from Brazil! I just had supper and now I left my family drinking by themselves in the back of the house. My father even suggested I drink a glass of champagne to toast with my parents and relatives... No thanks, I don't need a relapse in the first 3 minutes of 2016, so I toasted with water

Still two hours away from 2016 on the East Coast of the US, but fireworks are already going off outside. Cats are slinking around the house. Poor little guys.

Still 2 hours left till 2016! Went to an AA meeting and In a movie theatre now, waiting for H8ful Eight in 70 mm to start. First sober New Years Eve - checked!

Since I won't be able to do so at midnight, I'm gonna go now
