I am approaching my 3rd but I definitley remember my first. Keep your support close at hand, but know that a sober Christmas can be even better than a drunk one.

First one is super tough but hang in there and cherish the sober memories. On the bright side you'll be saving a ton of money too

I am ... and I can't stop thinking about it. My family celebrates on Xmas Eve (French Canadian tradition) and there is lots of booze involved. Kind of just want to get it over with. That being said, some family family are very supportive and have even offered not to drink (but I won't deny them the pleasure as they are not alcoholics!). If I even touch a drop, I know I would ruin the night for them. I am only on day 11 today so this will be my first test.
