The dogs' pot of chicken is boiling. They'll have mashed potatoes and either brussels sprouts or broccoli on the side.

We're having beef stir-fry sirloin tips with bell peppers & onions, organic baked potatoes, and salads.

That happened to me on a trans-Atlantic flight once, too, Ruby.

Something tells me it's the closest I'll ever get to first class!

I want one of these to watch over me from atop the Christmas tree!

I hope everyone has had/is having a nice Saturday.

Quiet day here. Just dog tired. Hopefully catch a few zzz's now.

Take care all,

B

Mesa, I love your outdoor scene and the dog star is cute.

Venecia, I always used to love shopping at the Bibelot Shop when I lived in St. Paul. That's not where you went, was it? I love buying ornaments but I haven't the past couple of years.

I'm making meatballs but it's for future dinners. I went grocery shopping and stocked up for the week. I want to bake so I've got stuff for that. I have almond butter that I'm not keen on so I'm going to make cookies with it. I love almond butter but not this brand. And I have leftover cranberry sauce so I'm thinking of a cake with the sauce in the center. It was homemade and is good.

Time to watch Dr. Who. Christmas special tonight. Then early bed.

Ruby, the store we used to go to was Nakashian-O'Neill downtown. It's now Anthony Scornavacco:

I live and work in the Como neighborhood so I stop by the Bibelot shop in St. Anthony Park from time to time. It's such a great place.

Whew! Just got caught up on all of the posts. I need to start taking notes when I catch up so I can make specific comments. I'm too old to remember anything much by the time I get to the last few.

Busy theatre night - we sold out. Having some dinner now and then I'll crash. I was up way earlier than I wanted to be. Guy friend texted me a "good morning" at 5:30. I usually do get up at 5:30, but on Saturdays I TRY to sleep in. Then of course I was awake so I gave in and got up to let the dog out.

On a weekend when I'm supposed to be de-cluttering, just the opposite seems to be happening. Sigh. Old junk messing up my brain. Tomorrow I'll try harder to broom stuff out.

Well cards were great until I got to the post office and the lady covered them in duct tape! Doh! So much for trying to send something home to put under the tree. I could feel godzilla coming out so I've ducked into a cafe and I'm enjoying a soda until I'm in a better mood. My way of decluttering so I will enjoy my day. Feeling better already after reading everyone's activities

SE, I don't see it if I'm running in the phone app mode. I always switch to full site.

Venecia, that's funny! I used to live within walking distance of Bibelot Shop in Como. Small world. I've never been to that other shop. One of these days I'll get up to Minnesota again.

Bedtime. Rather disgruntled because the brand new TV I bought apparently decided to not work. Luckily, and oddly, I saved both the receipt and box. See you all tomorrow

Woke up, in much better mood than yesterday. Having coffee and catching up with your posts.

See you later)

OK, SE , little masterclass from MB)

It took me some time to figure it out - but the hard processof letting myself make mistakes and not being scared of "what if I push the wrong button and the whole world will go to pieces" paid off)))

Here's screenshot from my phone.

On the left you see the thread, and within your post there's a little check mark in the upper right corner - I colored it with yellow.

You hit this check mark - and a small menu folds out (follow my arrow to the right)

. Here you see this menu. Since I've already thanked you , in my case is shows "unthank", but otherwise it will show "Thank". So you hit "thank" , and Voila.

Enjoy your SR app!

Now I would be happy if there was a way to sort out internet on my phone - working week starts tomorrow and I at work I can connect to SR only from phone, and if I don't do that i have serious SR withdrawls)

Morning everyone,

It is dull grey and damp here in London

I can't believe the self centeredness of that guy you dated Venecia, he obviously has no conception of other people's feelings - what a jerk

I usually select "desktop view" when using my phone to view SR Serene

Glad you are in a better mood today MidnightBlue

Saoutchik Towers is still covered in scaffolding - according to a woman downstairs they are running late due to bad weather. In December. Who'd have thought?
