Yes drinking partner when missing for six months, I barely missed him because all I wanted was drink. I walked into 6or7 meeting and there was this spotless clean Eddie came running towards me with his arms open wide. I wasn't at the huggy stage yet so I said"what you've turned gay too.

u probably will but were all there for the same reason. Truste he /she will be so happy to see you. I've had hundreds of those experiences and you'll get a big hug too.

Don't forget that it works both ways. The person you are worried you may possibly bump into may be worried about running into someone they know like you. Would you think bad of them for being at an AA meeting? Would you judge them? I highly doubt you would and it will be the same with them in regards to you.

Yes, this happened to me and I saw a neighbor. But SHE was in AA too! Neither one of us would say anything to anyone because THEN people would know WE are in AA too! Don't be scared. Most people really admire people who admit they have a problem and do something about it!
