Here in UK on one occasion a GP asked me if I wanted it in the notes or left out so I chose to let him omit that particular highly personal issue .
My biggest worry was that the village gossip who lives 4 doors from me was one of the receptionists . OK I know they will probably have to sign the official secrets act but some folk cant help themselves .

TBH though I do go with Scott on this and dont give a dam who says what as long as i,m sober or even drinking but seeking help .

I heard this saying somewhere " what you think of me is YOUR business "

Now I don't worry about it. The most important thing is that I'm sober.

And if somewhere in my medical records it states that I abused alcohol, well damn, I guess that's true.
My attitude too. I'm just happy to be alive a day at a time....

I would rather have "alcohol related" in my medical records than on my death certificate.
