I've come off pain killers a few times. I hope to make my final stand against them in the coming days. So you'll be a few days in front of me. One bit of advice that I have is to not try to take a pain killer to ease the withdraw. It's a few days of hell (mine always peaks during hours 30-40) and then it gets better. However, the minute you take that one pill for relief, you might as well start your clock over. Hang in there. It's tough, but totally doable!
