And This I Humbly Ask

Well I went into the room where hubby was and politely said:

"Baby, you know those three beers in the fridge? Well today while you were gone I thought about downing all three of em really fast, and I know beer's not my thing and you keep it for guests, but on a day that I had money I might have downed those and then took a walk to the liquor store to get what I really get cravings for, so can I toss em out?"

(I know, I am an explain-aholic!)

He said, "Yeah, yeah, ok."

I poured them out in the sink, then kissed him on the cheek and said, "Thank you."

A few years ago that would have went alot different and there would have been frustration and tension, so I'm slowly learning, I think.

Thank you Soberwolf, I'm trying to learn not to play the blame game with him or with anyone at that rate, I think that will be more successful for me.

Great job, both to you and your husband!

It always helps when your spouse is willing to support you in this process.

Way to go!
