You're smart to not stick around for all the drinking that will surely take place after dinner.

Sounds like you've got a plan and it's under control - enjoy your food, and stick to your guns

Totally solid plan. Enjoy the evening but don't linger.

Thanks for sharing your idea and plan.

You're doing well.

Great plan, and I think you're smart to leave early if you think you will have some anxious feelings. However, it's also pretty eye opening to observe all the people as they get drunk when you're stone-cold sober. It really helped me understand one reason why I don't drink anymore. Enjoy your sober morning tomorrow!

Your plan to leave after the meal sounds like a good one.

Enjoy your time and lime & soda.

It is going to feel good to go to bed sober and great to wake-up hangover free.

And just think... you will actually enjoy that fine tasting food instead of dulling your tastebuds, and being pre occupied, by the alcohol! Looking forward to receiving a positive post from you tomorrow! Enjoy!

That's awesome, well done you!

It's lovely waking up sober after having had a good night with friends, fresh as a daisy and knowing you didn't make a fool of yourself. I love it
