Knowing that I have to take the kids to sports after school, but am not stressing out about getting to the liquor store and hoping for a rain out so I can start drinking.

The ups man came w my Medicare enrollment kits.......I said wow .....it weights 42 lbs......he said yeah it's not light, do you want me to bring it inside for you.....I said okay......and so he did. That was very nice.

I took a brisk 30 minute walk. These walks always help to clear my head and keep me balanced. And the fall leaves are at their peak color in my neck of North America.

I'm sorry to say nothing made me happy today. It was the last day of business for my company. But for the most part, since I changed my ways, almost every day something makes me happy. When hungover or withdrawal, there was NEVER a happy moment during the day.

Every morning in the shower I make sure I think of one thing I'm happy/grateful for.
This morning it was "UGH, so glad I only have to get up early two more days. Almost the weekend!"
