Yeah Sydneyman - maybe we just grew up...finally. The thought of being 50 soon and still staggering about being a half person is not the person I want to be.
My son asked me whether I would be a good grandma to his children. He said that he was going to meet a wife (or friend) and that they would have children. He didn't know how many yet, but would I keep my car (it's a Porche?) so that he could borrow it and ferry his kids around.
I thought, I'd better stop smoking and drinking as this boy is serious and I can't let him down by dying early. I hope to outlive my car.

Well I did turn that magical 50 end of September peagreen.. I dony know what happened buy it helped me with this change, a switch that has been going now for 19 days.. Same, i dont want to be a stumbling drunk making a fool if myself in restaurants etc.. Inwas carrying on like a 15 yr old that got drunk for the first time.. Embarassing to say the least.. Fitness and diet is my new bottle. And damn it feels a lot better..
