So that was embarrassing.

It doesn't go w my AA BB studies.

I currently have an aversion to calling myself an alcoholic, so I related to her concepts.

Smart girl. Sending happy messages and essentially muddling up us newcomers absorption of the real time proven program.

Just don't drink..that message is clear as a bell..thanks to all of you.
Yeah I went into her blog this morning. I still like the article though . Recovery is big business.....everyone is selling something...OK not everyone, but lots of people, recovery centers, counsellors, etc etc. I guess a quick fix is always appealing but for me it never works. I don't like the -IC -ism thing of alcoholism. But I know I'm an alcoholic....just prefer the generic 'addict'. Whatever I label myself I cannot drink without eventually suffering serious consequences. Whatever leads me to complete acceptance of this fact is all that matters. There's no fear in calling myself an alcoholic. Just fear in not accepting that I can never drink.
