Snoozy, you are doing a wonderful thing for your daughters, and they will reap the benefits of your action to go to rehab.
I think you are very brave and stronger than you even know. I admire you for taking the bull by the horns and getting the help you need.
I am one of many here at SR who don't post much, but from reading your post can tell you are a very caring , loving and giving person.
You are an inspiration to us all, and I want you to know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many.

You're taking care of yourself. Yay for you! I think I read on another thread that you've discovered you have some health issues from drinking. I'm dealing with similar stuff and I believe right how it's the wakeup call that I have needed. I hope this is it for you, too. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

Praying for a Mercedes is selfish. Praying to become free of the obsession to drink so that you can become the person you were meant to become is not selfish at all. I have a feeling your hp has kept an ear open for that prayer, so go for it!
