Thank you everyone. Sleep was a bit weird last night with some moments of discomfort, but I expected that. Feeling pretty good today. It's funny, when we drink like we do, we forget what a joy it is to wake up feeling like ourselves, instead of in a fog.

Duly noted and thank you. Truth be told, I was having nightmares while I was drinking too. My theory is that those nightmares reflected my own personal hell of not being able to escape. So far I've had some cravings here on day two, but have not given in. Instead I'm about to exercise.

You are all very kind. I'm slipping today, pretty badly. I haven't given in to alcohol, but the cravings are driving me crazy. Have a headache and am not getting good sleep. Positive thoughts would be welcome!
There's some great tools for cravings here:

I think a lot of us feel we fail if we have cravings, but I don;t believe that. We all crave at one time or another, especially in the early days.
It's what we do in response to those cravings that counts, Edge.
