apologies
I've read ya mention attendance at AA so I'm going to st a lil something from dr bobs story:
**** If you think you are an atheist, an agnostic, a skeptic, or have any other form of intellectual pride which keeps you from accepting what is in this book, I feel sorry for you. If you still think you are strong enough to beat the game alone, that is your affair. But if you really and truly want to quit drinking liquor for good and all, and sincerely feel that you must have some help, we know that we have an answer for you. It never fails, if you go about it with one half the zeal you have been in the habit of showing when you were getting another drink.
It's petty simple, attaboy. Ya just gotta make a decision yer willing to go to any lengths to gt sober, which means yer willing to put in whatever footwork is necessary. You've done quite a bit, but I think you've missed some very vital keys to it or ya wouldn't be drunk and feeling like ya are right now.
Them mornings after.....sheeewie!!! I'm not sure what was worse: waking up wondering what I did the night before or wake up remembering what I did.
Either way today it doesn't matter. I haven't had to worry about what I did the night before in a long time. I may not remember, but I don't have to worry about it! No more terror, guilt, dispair, disgust, etc over yesterday's actions.
You can have it,too if ya work for it.
Well worth it,too.

I think all of us wish we could rewind the clock.
But we can't. The clock only goes forward and so should you. You can do this I know it. You were doing great. Just a setback. You did your time in the penalty box. Time to get back out on the ice!

Please dump the booze and end the insanity. You have nothing to gain and so much to lose by staying drunk.
You can make today a turning point still. I really hope that you chose sobriety.

Had my last drink at 4 pm yesterday. The wife kinda snapped me out of it. She had the strength this time and put it down first. Kinda shaky and sweaty right now. Always hated this time of day cuz stores can't sell here till 6am and I wake up at like 2 with low BAC so I'm watching the clock. I may have to get a high-grav beer at 6. The shakes are no good. A couple days this past week I did 2 5ths --off the chain.
