16 months sober! Major urges today. Nothing catastrophic going, just feeling the urge big time. I know it will pass but it is depressing to still have urges after all this time.

I get them at times as well, I not sober anywhere as long as you but it reminds me to always be vigilant.

Having urges doesn't mean you'll failed in someway - I dfunno about you but I drank for years - it takes a little while to learn change and adapt

use it as a reminder it's good to stay vigilant, sunshine.

Good job on 16 months sober! As for the urges, they're just feelings and don't have to become actions. Keep ignoring them and eventually they'll go away.

Dee is right, it doesn't mean you're not doing things right. Clearly you're doing really well. Just recognize the urges and let them go.
