16 months sober! Major urges today. Nothing catastrophic going, just feeling the urge big time. I know it will pass but it is depressing to still have urges after all this time.

I get them at times as well, I not sober anywhere as long as you but it reminds me to always be vigilant.

Having urges doesn't mean you'll failed in someway - I dfunno about you but I drank for years - it takes a little while to learn change and adapt :)

use it as a reminder it's good to stay vigilant, sunshine.

Good job on 16 months sober! :scoregood As for the urges, they're just feelings and don't have to become actions. Keep ignoring them and eventually they'll go away. :)

Dee is right, it doesn't mean you're not doing things right. Clearly you're doing really well. Just recognize the urges and let them go. :)
