Laughter helps... sometimes life feels so tough until I can laugh about it, then it feels livable.

That sounds like a horrible situation to be in. I think I would leave even if I had to walk or swim. I'm glad you're not going to drink.

Okay! So, Gilmore Girls has 153 episodes. It is Girl Power, sister. It is about a young single mom (with daughter) and she's always in some sort of tiff with her hoity toity rich parents, it is independence in female form. You'll want to smack the rich mother.

You'll like it, it is sharp and witty and fast moving, and the lead character has some great comebacks for her mom.
