Where to start?

So many rules and not enough focus to understand what it is I'm supposed to do. I need help to get off pain pills before I end my life. I don't know where to begin. I have no money, no job, no insurance and a husband who has no desire to stop abusing them with me. I've tried to quit and I can't, it hurts too much. I am a weak person and I suffer from depression badly. I need a rehabilitation center that will take me. Please help me and forgive me if I didn't follow the rules of the forum. I tried to read it and I just don't understand right now but I have no one to turn to.

Oh no. I wish I could give you a hug!

I am so sorry you are in a bad place. I am still tapering myself. This is the worst bit.

You don't sound weak to me at all. You're here asking for help, despite all of your adverse circumstances, you want to continue and heal. That sounds more like strength and courage to me.

I wish I had some resources, but the people here are very kind and helpful. Hang in there.

Boo,

What County do you live in? I found some detox centers in MN.

This is your state Mental Health Crisis services page:

Missouri Department of Mental Health | Crisis Assistance

You should also check to see if you are eligible for Medicare/Medical.

Most of those free rehab centers do not offer medically-assisted detox, I just read.

Good luck, I wish you the best.
