Hello all (again)
Helloeveryone! Did three months sober about a year ago, did the old 'I'm ok now I can control it' trick and started again...hard. Bottle of wine minimum every night, two at weekends. Woke up Monday to a red blotchy face and...I'll be honest...vanity was the final straw. On day four now. Felt very sketchy this morning but been at work and powering on. Read lots on here and value the support. Will keep posting, drinking my water, taking my vitamins and trying to smile

Welcome back.
Perhaps you can leverage SR is such a way as to support your decision to quit. Post when you struggle, read posts that make you appreciate being sober when your addiction is telling you being sober sucks...drinking is better.

Welcome back tattoo girl. I thought I could moderate many times after periods of sobriety.. until I finally realized I couldn't. It's just a lie that our AV tells us. Wishing you permanent sobriety and a joyful life.
