Visual help
Knowing that people learn different ways, during this - my first week of sobriety - I have had a 'success panel' on my front door so at the end of every day I put a sticky note with the day and date on on my success panel.
The left hand panel is my unsuccessful panel and down the middle are the stickys for the next week.
Therefore every time I walk out my front door I have a visual reminder of what I have achieved. A couple of times when I've nearly given in to my AV I've bought this to mind and not given in.
I didn't know if it was something that may be of help to others.
I've attached a picture of my door (apologies for the size) it isn't very clear but this weeks stickys are down the middle.
(On an aside which has nothing to do with sobriety etc but halfway down the top of the door, between the glass panels, is a peep/security hole.If someone can tell me how you can peer out of that without anyone knowing you are there I would love to know!!)
