Last night we were invited to a friend's place for supper. These evenings were usually heavy on alcohol with about a bottle of wine per person. Last night 3 of them shared one bottle. Hmmmm....makes one wonder, right?

Anyway, today I'm posting this from the car as we head south to the U.S.A for a shopping day. I'm clear headed, enjoying the ride and we are having great conversation. I feel happy and enthused about the day ahead. This wouldn't have happened when I was drinking. I'd either be home hung over or sitting here feeling nauseous and awful and dreading the tired hung-over day ahead while ruining it with a bad mood.

Moments like this give me those extra little bursts of gratitude and thankfulness and make me realize that this new way of living is so totally with it.

Yay! We are back and all kitted out for an upcoming three week holiday in Thailand. It's my first time in Asia, and I'm really stoked!
