Really Want to Smoke Crack tonight

I really want to smoke crack and drink beer. It is New Years! I know that isn't good for my health. So I called my sponsor and I am going to watch t.v. I hope there is some benefits to staying sober!

You made the right choice. I see there are people in the chat room right now, you should go there a bit

There are great benefits. If nothing else, think about the detox. No fun.

Good call McCribb. I can't actually think of a single benefit a beer would give me tonight....it would lead back to the same hell I finally left behind. Good job coming here to get through it.

I don't want to detox. I want my brain and mind to be clear. I want my car in one piece. I want to handle my issues straight up with no chemicals.

a life without booze is amazing. I relapsed a week ago and it was one of the worst, damaging things in my life to date. I had over two months sober and after that first month, I had some of the most rewarding time of my life.

I just got back from a sober/clean dance. I'm not going to lie it was kinda akward; kicked my shite up pretty bad. Never been to a party w/o chemicals in me. I got thru it tho. Ended up being ok. I still kinda kicking my self for isolating. I didn't talk to any females like I planned in my head (scared to death haha!) I got a lot to work on in 2015.

Definitely the right choice - you did what you wanted to do, not your addiction - well done McRibb
