Day 1

So yesterday I started down the road again, and it's much rougher this time. Can't keep anything down. Any tips on making this a little easier? Like vitamins or foods to eat?

well clayton, I hope you are on the right road...

without any information other than you are starting down the road, all I can say is to get plenty of fluids and try to choke down some crackers.

You can do this clayton!!

When my stomach is in bits, crackers or plain boiled rice is easier to keep down, plenty of fluids too!!

Yes, it does get harder on you. And things will only get worse, if you're anything like me.
Remember you never have to feel this way again if you don't pick up that first drink.
Gatorade is good for what you're going through. Your electrolytes are probably low. Fruit juice is good, too.
Best to you on making this your first day.

You're gonna feel like crap for a bit, but rest, fluids, and nutritious foods will help. Just don't pick up a drink again and ride it out. It will get better, you just have to keep motivated to quit.

I really don't want to do this anymore, because when I drink I go on like 4 day benders...

I've been the same way, I've been where you're at right now many times and it sucks. You just have to want to be sober and make it happen. Resist the temptation and rationalization. You can do this, and when you're feeling better keep resisting the urge and revel in the good feeling of sobriety.
