Honestly I didn't realize the support system I had in place for myself. When I quit drinking in 2012 it was a big deal. Those close rallied behind me, those who didn't are still drinking like 30 year old frat boys and looking back, they haven't progressed in their life since then. Yea, I was a closet drinker, but didn't associate with those people because everyone thought I quit. Now that I've dropped the bottle, its quite easy. I was the one bringing alcohol into my life. Without me actually going to the store and picking it up, theres nothing else around me that would tempt me to drink. Funny how life is sometimes.
