Congratulations on one year! That's quite an accomplishment, for someone with or without a past alcohol issue. Not many people can say that they've gone an entire year without drinking, you should be proud!
It's posts like this that give me rejuvenated desire to keep this addiction away for good. To be able to say it's been an entire year, or two years, or 10, or 30 years since the last drink. Those'll be key accomplishments in this f'd up recovery process.
Seeing these accomplishments being made by others, it's a great motivator that makes me realize that it is possible and it does happen, far more often than I may expect.
