I don't know what to do
I don't know what to do
It seems like you were right. I can't have a drink like a normal person...I don't know if anyone here remembers me..but I did the 3 months without alcohol and I thought that I'm just fine. But here I am..again..drinking every day...lots of anxiety and depression. .I really don't know what should I do.
Welcome back, aistar.
(There are hundreds and hundreds of stories of failed moderation attempts here on SR; you are not alone).
Stay close to SR; read, post often. Pour out any alcohol you have in your home. Do you have any face to face support?

Have you thought about trying AA; I don't personally use it but there are many folks here at SR who have found it beneficial.
There are many other methods, programs and tools. Check these out when you can:
Secular Connections - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information
Have you spoken to your doctor about your drinking or plans to stop?
Were you part of a Class last time you were here? I am a part of the Class of February, 2014 and love it. I'll send you a link to the November class in another post.
The best part of SR is that it is 24/7/365; there is always someone here who cares and truly wants to see you succeed.

Anxiety and depression can motivate us to drink but they can also be causes of alcoholism. In terms of reaching out for support, remember that the majority of people who want to help you here and in AA or other situations know full well what it's like to face a drinking problem because we have one ourselves. That's why we want to help.
