About to brush of a full 24 again. Sulked most of the day is self pity and depressed, but I am just hours away finishing day one.
Tomorrow is a new day, after this most recent relapse I am beginning to realize that lip service doesn't keep you sober . I gotta really think to myself long and hard how I am going to do this....
I typically write pretty lengthy post, but after this most recent relapse i can honestly say I am at a loss for words. 400 post later and all the advice and support you'd think something would stick, but its not. I like to ask a question or say something positive or something, all these post and replies later and I am literally stuck! Glad to be back on the boards though.
I hope all your days are going well and everyone is hanging in there. Thanks for reading.

Congrats on day 1. You mention that actions will be more important than words, I believe that is very true. Ask yourself what specific actions you will take to make sure this time is different. Make a list of you have to....and follow through with it.
Wishing you the best.
I think stuff sticks, opposed to washing over us. Recovery, it is a lot to take in and change...very few of us do it in one hit....bit by bit we get there and we we get there by trying and "as the man thinketh"......Congratulations on 24 hours.

Double post. On edit, a good opportunity to add that you can do this. Maybe spend some time thinking about what you can do differently this time.
