10 Days and feeling strange

This is day 10 for me, not easy. I am light headed everyday, is this normal at this point in time? I have yet to find a new routine, but not drinking still. I am 62 and have drank since I was 16, but not to the extreme I have been at since my divorce 5 years ago. I am still uncertain I can maintain this, but am at the moment. The light headedness is concerning me. Anyone else experience this?

I experienced it at around 2 weeks. I went to the dr and was told something that may not apply to you so I won't share. Fixed me right up though

I would see a doctor for an accurate diagnosis.

I agree getting to a doctor for a physical work up is a good idea.

I also experienced some of this off and on... Mainly it was from anxiety that has arisen in sobriety as I learn to face life without self medicating.

I experience dizziness when I need to eat (low blood sugar) or when I am dehydrated.

Hi coffeeboy.

I felt strange and out of it for the first few weeks. Very fuzzy & slow on the uptake. I agree that calling your dr is in order though.
