i drank last night
So last night i drunk two beers an smoked seven cigarettes i feel so bad for doing it.. this morning i woke up without a hangover but ashamed, but still staring at the pack i have left an the two beers left in the fridge thinking i can have those two n smoke those cigarettes after work... omg .... i feel so powerless
not that you should be upset with yourself look in the mirror and say Why.. once you have a handle on that its easy.. maybe well...sometimes.. a couple out of a hundred. prayers Toni ... you can do it.. really...
Sorry to hear that tonib,
I would pour the beers out and try not to beat yourself up about it. Stay on SR for the support we all need and check in often. I'm sure everyone on this site has done what you done last night
If you like, you could join our class, October 2014. we have a lot of great members there

I agree with the wise folks above - get those beers out of the house. It'll take 10 seconds to dump them, just do it. That's job 1. The next task is to stay sober today. We're here to help if you need support.

I got off work yesterday after a horrible day an had the urge for a drink an a cigarette.... when i bought the beer an got home an started drinking it i just felt sleepy, no buzz no nothing just sleepy an full. Last week when i drank liquor i instantly felt sick but kept on drinking... i know since i haven't drank in four months my body has somewhat got use to being clean an is clearly telling me cut it out it doesn't want the poison.... fyi: just tossed the beer an cigarettes
Sorry to hear about this but I'm glad you came right back here and it didn't get worse than it is. Figure out what went wrong if possible. ..and start again. Today is a new day and you can make it your new beginning!
As long as I had alcohol in reach,
in my refrigerator, cabinet, it was
always talking to me. Always testing,
tempting, inticing me.
I was so powerless over alcohol that
until I learned about my addiction,
received a program of recovery to
incorporate in my everyday life and
most of all, made changes of people,
places and things associated with
alcohol then I was never gonna get
sober.
I had to admit I had a drinking problem
and accept that fact, then believe in using
a program of recovery before I could begin
to heal, get healthy, honest and finally happy
in my life today.

Came to believe a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. This is the only thing that ever worked for me.
Everyone has their own path, glad you posted and dumped the beers !
If you ever feel you need outside support there is another solution that works for many.
Best of luck friend to you and all of us on our journey.

Sounds to me as though you had a craving for a cigarette and that's what set the thing off.
Sometimes wanting to smoke can be quickly stopped if you have something to eat instead. Even just getting a sandwich and cup of hot tea and thinking about whether you really want to go and get beer can help a lot.
