New here...
Just wanted to say hello. On day three (certainly NOT my first attempt). Reading everyone's posts has been really helpful, I don't feel so all alone. Hubby is very supportive but he shares none if my issues/ problems.
Welcome, Baileylove! Same here. Even if a couple people in my life know and support me through this issue, I find most help here, among people who truly relate.

Welcome, Baileylove!
I get it - my spouse is a "normie" too. I'm glad she doesn't have to deal with the hell I've been through, but it can feel a bit lonely at times.
I look forward to seeing you around the forums.

First off no more 'hiding' anything from the hubby. That was pretty much a joke anyways & I miss how really close we can be. I got a couple of helpful books on alcoholism I saw were recommended. I know aa helps a lot of people but I hate to admit I'm afraid to go... This honestly feels like it's helping a lot. I don't feel like I'm all alone in this. So many posts put how I've felt just perfectly.

Welcome Bailey. Glad you're being honest with your OH. I've lied so much to my wife that it will take years to sort out our trust issues, even though all my lying has been centered around drinking.

Hi there, I am also new here and am currently 9 days clean. This site has given me the motivation to see this though. Life can be good and I'm prepared to make that happen. We'll done on making this great change, I hope to be a part of any support you may need
