Going away for a few days

I'm heading off camping tomorrow for a few days. I just thought I'd let you know in case you guys were worried I'd fallen off the rails when I disappear.

Where exactly? I haven't decided yet. When I asked my brother this question, he said "left, we're going left".

So I guess I'm going left.

Tom.

Be careful. Are you going alone?

No, I'm going with friends. With my brother in my heart.

I love it Thomas. I've done that with my friend too. Put her in the car and said, "OK where to." I do believe they speak to us in countless ways.

You know you never have to be
alone or ever go thru recovery,
camping or anything else alone
again.

I don't have the SR app for my
own phone, but I think there is
one so that you can add it to ur
own phone and have SR or some
kind of life line to recovery and
support when ever you need it.

This time in your life having support
or others to lean on is extremely
important.

We here in SR are here for you every
minute of the day. Every step you take.
That to me is extremely comforting.

Don't you think?

Take US SR with you where ever you
go to help you not pick up a drink or
poison that would only do worse than
better.

Thomas, I think this is a good idea, get a change of scenery, spend some time with friends.

And, know for sure that all of us here are with you in spirit.

Take care and be prepared, Thomas. This is a great time of year for camping, but in late Oct the weather can turn on a dime. Be sure to take along some warm clothes and some kind of rain gear even if it's a $1.00 Wal-Mart poncho (those actually work well for brief downpours).

A few days away with friends should do you good.

I agree with the others - nature is a great place to find some peace! Hope the leaves are beautiful wherever you end up!
