Hey MMB....

It's just me being light-hearted about my sobriety.

I can tell that for some, this approach is less humorous than disturbing.....

I don't mean to bring anyone disturbance. It's jut that I feel being my true playful self and celebrating my NON alcoholic 'drinking' helps me feel a little more OK with it.

I donno how to explain it... I'm sorry if it is uncomfortable.

For myself Freeowl, I'm the first to take the p*ss out of my sobriety!! If you're gonna be sober what's the point in being serious & miserable about it?? Life is too short for that.. OK maybe not everybody will share my warped sense of humour but it sure does help to get through difficult situations which we are all faced with whether we are drunk or sober... The thought of puring myself a long one & owning it sounds like a good idea to me... Now, where's my beetroot juice..

The ?Aussies? Huh?

You do know Kiwis and Kiwifruit are from New Zealand, not Australia. One is a bird, the latter is a fruit.

having lived in New Zealand and worked extensively in Oz... I can't say I've ever really run across either an Aussie or a Kiwi who really got fussed about whether you called a Kiwifruit a Kiwi. Though, to be fair - they would never refer to a Kiwifruit as a Kiwi....
