Flight Pattern

Fantastic Job 60 Days
Soon the flight pattern will start, I noticed the geese are starting to flock, and I'll be seeing them in a different light now, thanks so much Talia. Aways good to have our eyes opened to some things. My hummingbirds have let, there's the odd stray, amazing the process some of these birds go through every year. Hmmm wouldn't it great being a bird, the freedom.
Anyways Talia my friend you keep up the wonderful hard job.
Love and hugs......Denise

I see a gorgeous skyline with our V formation forming to provide strength in Unity and with Spiritual Rotation as our guiding principles. Grey skies are going to clear up. Ohh Yes and please meet my cat Kaivalyia (Sanskrit or something for One Love) who helped teach me how to pray and meditate.

(((Phil))) Hi all...
Are you guys ready to fly south? It's getting closer and closer to that time. Looking forward to our adventure together. Time to fuel up and spread our wings...it won't be long now. The sky's the limit...

As I prepare to journey to my Area Assembly this coming weekend, your post came to mind once again. LOL I was doing laundry and missing some flowers a couple newbies came by and stole. Thanks so much for your intuitive vision and eagerness in thirst for the spiritual principles embodied in this thread.
This is an election year in my Area(the Western Washington Area 72) and many of the folks putting their names forward to qualify & serve in A.A. here at the Area level have been in the "V" formation with me through many storms over the years. I have been asked to serve and had the priviledge to do so in various positions of trust over the years. Not because I am a neat guy, smart, or anything of the sort.........
Because, alcohol made me willing to go to any lengths following my last debacle with my personal alcoholic dilemma. I took direction from God and a very wise Sponsor. Together they and countless others walked me into the gift of our Three Legacies. Participation in Unity, and being a small part of the wonderful "V" formation, was needed to keep me here in Recovery as a small part of the great whole. Today, the "V" formation stands for VICTORY over alcohol to me and without Service in and to A.A., victory would never have happened for me personally.
I am grateful to be serving in my Home Group as their outside GSR at this years Area Assembly. Our group meets in a place I never thought I would be volunteering to be spending time. LOL Freedom Seekers meets in a Prison Work Camp and I am about the only one presently allowed to go to the Assembly. Dept. of Corrections in WA State is not liberal enough yet to allow inmate AA members to travel for Area Business functions.
This group's voice ought to be heard. So, when Spiritual Rotation brought me back home a few years ago, I found out it did not necessarily mean I would be on a Spiritual Vacation.
No matter how far away I get from my last drink, it's people like you and the fellow members of Freedom Seekers who remind me that I am not cured of my alcoholism. I need newer members as much, if not more than they will ever need me. Newcomers are the lifeblood of our Fellowship and you give me great hope that our HEART will remain beating strong for years to come.
Thanks for helping provide the much needed Sunlight of the Spirit to keep my rose blooming even in the Fall & Winter of my life.

I want to fly with you all. To be honest I am just getting back up on sober feet. Today I am going to practice some hopping and gliding. I am definatly not going to drink alcohol today. I am going to be thankfull for my blessings. I am going to feast and be glad my life has been soo blessed. It is a shame that I have wasted so much of being wasted and sick. May the force be with you all and happy thanksgiving.
