I'm not sad summer is coming to an end

I used to whine, moan and groan when summer was coming to a close. But now I don't mind it. I even look forward to fall and pumpkins and cinnamon spice candles...snow and the holidays and parties and boots and sweaters

It appears that when I stay sober, life really does become quite wonderful. It took some time to fit into my skin and I find that when I continue to live a life of recovery, it actually fits quite well.

I LOVE Autumn....but this is the first summer I've truly enjoyed...in, like, forever.

Fall is my favorite! Bath and body works had a candle called Leaves.. It is wonderful.

Love, love, love autumn. Cool, crispy sunny days...leaves turning brilliant reds and yellows...big comfy sweaters with boots and jeans...and ya, candles and fireplaces and cocoa.

I always lament the end of summer. I love summer. I love the heat. I love wearing next to nothing. Sandals. Fishing. Jumping in the lake. Laying in my hammock. Sleeping in a tent when it's so hot you leave the fly off and pray for rain.
