120 yesterday 4 months sober
After a stressful busy 12 hour shift at the Galley Hatch in Hampton NH. I was tired, stressed, hungry, all of the above my chef came up to me after the 6-9 rush and said if you can make it through this summer being sober I'll be extremely impressed. On a night to be sure that everyone that had worked yesterday possibly drank last night I went home showered and watched the Red Sox highlights then went to bed. The temptations are always their everyday you just have to remind yourself what's important to you! I've been going to the chiropractor for over a month now and to the gym 3 days a week for the past 2 months. I'm close to getting my health at where I want it to be and the next step is to find a career path next so I can eventually one day get out of the service industry. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer soberity!
Hey Brad, congrats on fighting the temptation! I am from Southern Maine originally, and worked summers in Kennebunkport. I always went out at night in Hampton Beach, and I know how tempting that place is! One big party in the summer. You can make it though, focus on you and your future, and feel sorry for the ones that poison themselves every night with alcohol. Working in the service industry hungover is the worst. You can make it the whole summer!

Thanks everybody for the encouragement and replies been kind if a lazy day after the long shift yesterday but getting in a evening gym session. Thanks Lucie always cool to hear from people who live in the area and yes it's crazy around here in the summer as you already know! I'm looking at it as another tough test and I'm halfway through passing it!
