to add, one thing I haven't told myself and don't want to:
im never drinking again. ive done that a jillion times, plus swore off and promised.
just not drinking today.

It is really weird and kind of scary at first but you get over it. I can't even comprehend now how I used to drink the way I did, it just boggles my mind and honestly makes me a little sick to think about it.
So yeah, you get over it. Get a year of not drinking under your belt and all that "alcohol in my DNA" is just a fading memory.

The thought of never drinking again, makes me happy, happy, happy, beyond words.
I don't have to waste any more energy with it.
