Day 4 and feeling.....meh

Posted yesterday about my day 3 and it felt good that the worst of the acute/physical symptoms were dying right down.

Now im starting to eat a bit again more properly, but ive just got that horrible brain fog type down feeling as in the 'will I ever get my brain back to the way i used to be able to think, speak, articulate things'.

Hi Glasgowlad, I am on day 3, had horrible bloated symptoms which are gradually wearing off. I can relate to the brain fog, had that the first two days. I think I takes our bodies a while to get the poison out. Our brain has been closed down by the booze and it need to start making healthy cells again. I'm sure you will feel so much better in a few days time. Good luck - I'm there with ya!

Well done on Day 4 Glasgowlad, yes I know the felling to well, it takes time, try get some exercise like walks or swimming if possible, eat well and try get plenty of quality sleep. Been in your situation too many times, we have filled ourselves for years with poison and it takes time for the system to adopt as we screwed our bodies and nervous system, wires need to reconnect, so if you look at it as if you are now in recovery mode, it takes time, plenty of time. Best of Luck.

Great Job on Day 4!!

It'll take time, the body can't heal over night after years of poisoning it, hang in there and it'll get better!!

stick with it Glasgowlad, I know it's not easy, try do other things to distract yourself, go for walk, play with kids, watch a movie, give a hand to someone, anything except use. Good Luck.
