Call Ripley's Believe it or Not I've been Sober for 3 Days!
Day 3 here I am. I went out to eat with the hubby tonight and had a really nice pasta meal with NO WINE! It was rather hard because my husband did order a beer, but I made it through liquor free! I thought about getting non-alcoholic beer, but I was afraid the taste might tempt me to have a real one. Anyone have any thoughts on that?
No major withdrawl symptoms. The only thing I feel like I am suffering from is insomnia. I couldn't fall asleep last night and then ended up sleeping all day (my only day off!). A little fatiqued, but other than that feeling pretty good.
Thanks to everyone for their inspiration and support

hokeychica,
there is a poll and thread around this board somewhere about the non-alcoholic beer. i think there actually is some (very little) alcohol in there, so staying away was good for you. your body doesn't even need a drop of it. i am proud of you. how does it feel to be sober. a lot of sleep might be good, help your body to rest soberly. if that makes any sense. congratulations on day 3. keep up the good work
