90 days!
Today is a big day for me. I am celebrating 90 days without alcohol! I am still fairly new to this sight, but I would like to thank everyone here for the support. Sober Recovery is an amazing community, and it helps me tremendously. One thing I have learned is as an alcoholic I am NEVER safe in this disease. I know I can't moderate. Ive tried and failed that "test" a multitude of times! The solution for me to live a happy and fulfilling life is to live life without alcohol. Sometimes that seems like a daunting task, but it becomes so much easier by taking it one day at a time. There are times I catch myself looking ahead, and I just have to slam on the brakes and tell myself to just make it through today. If i can do that everyday I will be successful. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! It is going to be a weekend filled with watching sports for me!

You're one up on me lol I'll celebrating 90 days tomorrow
I stopped on St. Patricks Day, an alcoholics favorite time. A NO GUILT drinking day. But Not for me. That is when I decided that enough is enough. Ended it cold turkey and will never look back.
I sometime think "What if", I have learned NEVER to cross that line. Believe it or not, sometimes too much thinking is not good
Plan a straight path- no curves, side roads or exits . Don't allow yourself to be given a choice or option.
We can beat this together!
