Yes - its is very common - par for the course in fact. I would enjoy it if you can. The lethargy can be quite relaxing if you don't fight it!

I found that exercise helped with being tired all the time. Running in particular. It also help me deal with the depression that came on after I quit.

Recognize sleep instead of just passing out.

Oh yes, extreme fatigue early days for me I fact the first couple of months although I was getting better every day I still had spells at certain points of the day were I felt flattened, think it was the calorie drop from quitting.
Take care Christimc.

I was exhausted for the first 3/6 months and caught so many naps...listen to your body and nap whenever you can: it s its way to heal itself.
Also remember that a lot of us really did not get real sleep but passed out instead. Takes some time for the brain to rewire itself.

I took lots of naps, which I never do. I noticed that some of the fatigue was actually mental, I was steeling myself against the cravings. I changed my diet and exercised a lot, and that helped. Just rest, it's a big change!

I want to be tired...I have slept only about 7 hours all week since last Saturday. But I'm on day 7 sober! I just stay busy but I feel weird. Like I want sleep but I go another 7 days like this. Worries me. Maybe it's the sleep deprivation...I'm in fight mode though. I'm claiming my life back. It's mine. The pills can't have it anymore. They had it for 20 years.

My fatigue hit me on like day 8 or 9. Was really bad! Yesterday was day 12 and I felt much better. Today, at day 13 I'm still tired but nothing like what I felt like on day 9.
