Not sure what to do.

Well, some of you may remember me from this previous summer when I got my DWI, I happy to say that I will be 10 months sober on Monday, but things are far from good.

I work as a bank teller, but have had differences totaling 1000 dollar in the past 6 months. Now, this could very well be a computer error or my mistake in giving out too much money. Today though, something happened. I had another difference of 800 within the first 2 hours of work, which is mind boggling. Then after hours the manager decides to count the straps I had sole the PREVIOUS day meaning it had nothing to do with my difference today.

Well what do you know, TWO of the 20 straps were shorts money totalling 420, now how does that happen when a machine counts them and I proofed yesterday? Now if I were lying and doing this to false proof then the explanation would be very simple, but I am 100% honest when saying I have not stolen money.

I will most likely be fired because I have already had a written warning. Now I have to fight this, but either way what the heck am I going to do with a DWI and no job? I am really depressed right now but the only bright side is I have no desire to drink.

I don't know where I'm going with this, I am just really low right now, I feel like my life is over.

I am sorry you're going through this. I think trying to prove your innocence is the way to go, but I have no idea how you will be able to do that? And, if you are fired, what kind of a recommendation will the Bank give you? That could be important too. Maybe you should think about hiring a lawyer.

And, know for sure, whatever happens, stay sober.

Hi Prodigy - try not to worry or leap too far ahead into a 'what if' future.
There must be a reasonable explanation - I hope the bosses will discover it

Luckily I have been an outstanding employee, this could be something literally wrong with our computer systems since there have been numerous differences all around the bank. I know I have references if the worst does happen however.
