I don't have any plans other than
getting out of the house. I have
to stay occupied in some manner.

Next week the SLR is coming
out of it's bag. It's been in
there so long, the battery
has probably gone south.

Get a new bird feeder from home depot. My bird dog who uses it for stalking the birds has knocked it down one too many times. Attend an open AA meeting and listen to the guest speaker. Then cruise downtown fort worth and the stockyards on the Harley. Then hit Juniors taco truck on 25th street. I am a taco truck Connoisseur.

I've got a retirement party tonight but at least my wife will be there to beat me over the head if I have any foolish inclinations.

At least I get a steak out of it.

I plan to do a bit of work on my aquarium hobby, play some golf and walk my dog. Chilled out just the way it should be.
Enjoy everybody.

Women's AA meeting, sign up for a gym membership, start a quilt that I have been procrastinating forever, keep on with my 2nd step, re-read a favorite book now that I finally have time... I have to keep myself occupied almost every waking moment or I get lonely and listless and my mind starts talking me out of staying sober, lol.

Ispaz: Thanks for reminding me. I just got all this bird seed from my XAH home, and he trashed my feeder. So I guess off the home depo I go 2 morrow

....tried to find a bird icon, no luck ...

My wife works for an older couple as
a home health person. They invited us
to go up to their cottage this week end
in northern WI to do some camping.
Ordinarily I would be packed and anxious
to go but, they drink. I know that I couldn't
handle that. We declined.

I went to an AA meeting and came home to put my kids to bed. Tomorrow night I am going to a dinner sponsored by the group hosting my Friday night AA meeting. A social occasion. In between is all kinds of stuff. Piano lessons, a memorial service, little league game and a school party. And I check in on the weekenders thread here in SR to see what all everyone else is up to.

Chicago: I think declining was a wise decision Just knowing what you can and can't handle is an accomplishment in itself
