Keep on Trying
I have been in AA since last March but havent been able to get long term sobriety. Chronic relapser. I hope I have had enough. Working with a great sponsor, have a homegroup but just dong pick up the phone when the urge hits me.
I think the title says it all "Keep on trying". I think it's important to never give up ... keep givin' it h*ll! I think that's true once someone has attained sobriety as well. We all just have to keep on trying.
Hang in there and be well.

I was a chronic relapser, too. What I did was go to AA speaker meetings and look for the similarities to my drinking.
All the tools are there, you just have to take advantage of them. Dedicate yourself to sobriety. Remember how the relapses make you feel. Follow the steps, and pick up that hundred pound phone when you feel like drinking.

I am working at sobriety as a full time job. My drinking was more than a full time job so it turns out that I end up with extra time to do fun stuff.
Sobriety is the best gift we can give ourselves and our loved ones. It pays to work hard at it.
